Fabien Gay: "Already 450,000 euros collected to organize the 90th Fête de l'Humanité, goal 1 million"

As I have done since the beginning of the launch of our "Emergency for Humanity " campaign, I would like to personally update you on the progress.

To date, we have raised €450,000 in donations, both by check and online. This is a very significant amount, especially given the current situation of declining purchasing power. I sincerely thank those who have already supported us. Your gesture counts ! Even a modest donation is welcome and will make a difference.

While we were worried about holding the ^90th edition of the Fête de l'Humanité, we are now more confident, thanks to your donations. However, for it to be as beautiful as we hope and to take place under good conditions, we still need cash to cover expenses, and we need it now.

With this 450,000 euros, we are almost halfway to our goal. It's achievable!

But for that, we still need your help between now and the end of August. Many of you may already be on your way to your vacation, or will be soon, and your thoughts will likely be turning to a well-deserved rest. However, don't forget us!

With Prime Minister François Bayrou having just announced a new social purge plan, playing on fears of debt and war, the Fête de l'Humanité will be a major moment of resistance to this austerity budget, but also of preparation for the political and social counter-offensive. Many political, union, and community guests have already confirmed their attendance, and the Fête will be a gathering place for the entire social and ecological left.
